About me

My Story

Hi, my name is PlextroVision, also known by my real name, Pascal Sulek. I’ve been exposed to EDM music my whole life, but my journey didn’t really begin until much later. Exactly 8 years ago, when I was 8 years old, I was sitting in my bedroom watching YouTube. I had YouTube playing in the background while I was doing something else. Suddenly, I heard a track that sounded very familiar to me. It was “Animals” by Martin Garrix. I found this track really fascinating and started researching Martin and listening to more of his songs. That’s how it all began. The second event happened a little later. I was in the living room listening to the radio. That one song I’ll never forget… “Alone” by Alan Walker. I loved the track so much that I wanted to transform myself into Walker. I put on a hoodie, bought a mask like the one Alan Walker wore, and went out walking around like that. I felt special and started looking for his music. NCS music was also all the rage back then, and that was a source of inspiration for me as well. The most exciting year for me was 2019. At the beginning of the year, I discovered Spotify for the first time and was fascinated by this platform. At the end of 2018, Alan Walker released his album “Different World,” which blew me away immediately. I listened to that album on repeat all year long. I still enjoy listening to that album today. While I was totally into it, I got to know other DJs like Brooks, Mike Williams, Mesto, Loopers, DJ Snake, Skrillex, etc. When I saw many of the DJs I knew performing at festivals (on YouTube, of course), I wanted to do that someday too. So in January 2020, I started taking a DJ course where I learned how to DJ. After a while, I wanted to do more than just DJ. I wanted to create something of my own. Through my YouTube algorithm, I found remixes of well-known EDM tracks. So I downloaded a trial version of FL Studio and wanted to start experimenting with it. However, I couldn’t figure it out at all because it was very complicated to even create anything. After two years, I unfortunately had to stop DJing because my DJ teacher no longer had time to do this job. So I stopped around spring 2022. One morning in June 2022, I was sitting at my computer and was bored. So I scrolled through the YouTube homepage and happened to find a tutorial for FL Studio. I clicked on it and watched the video for about five minutes. Suddenly, I just felt like giving it a try. I watched one tutorial after another and slowly began to understand how the program worked. Once I’d gone through all the tutorials, I immediately started working on my own tracks. They sounded bad, but at least they were better than the ones I’d made before without any knowledge. In August 2022, I created an artist profile under the name “Anonymusdog.” Back then, this profile was more of a joke, and I didn’t yet know that this project would soon become more serious. I released the songs I’d made over the past two months and was happier than ever. Those tracks are still available today. After doing my own thing for three years and constantly improving, I wanted to go public. The first thing I had to do was change my stage name. I wanted a stage name that started with the first letter of my first name. I grew up in a time when YouTube intros with NCS music were popular. A frequently used music genre back then was “Complextro.” I think Complextro sounds incredibly cool because it somehow reminds me of video games, and I’m a huge fan of video games. So in August 2025, I named myself “PlextroVision,” and my first release under that name was “Come Alive.” Now here I am. I’m so grateful that all these coincidences and decisions have shaped my life.
